Have you ever wondered why certain people push your buttons? It may be because their card mirrors yours. They directly reflect what you need to fix in your life!
Or, have you asked yourself if the person you are dating is a good match for you? Well, the answer may be in the cards!
In Episode 39 of Butterfly Kisses Podcast, I talk with Laura Haehl, an intuitive who is passionate about helping people activate their inner oracle. She offers people a three-aspect approach to making intuitive decisions. Throw away those pesky pros/cons lists, and no more having to ask friends their opinions.
We discussed that we all know what we want energetically, but it’s moving past the noise in our heads and feeling into the answers that matter. Laura’s approach to decision-making is straightforward and clear-cut.
And one process is through understanding how you are essentially made up to live life. Based on your birth date, you have a “playing card,” and that card has a low side and a high side. By understanding the energies of your card, you can manage the energy levels. (And for those who are wondering, I mean an actual deck of playing cards!)
For example, the Jack is considered the prince of the cards. The low side of the Jack is they tend to want to get away with things. On the high side, they have a higher level of knowledge than most people. Knowing what your cards are and how they work allows you to manage your life and discover your purpose.
Laura read my cards—I’m the 3 of diamonds, and the 7 of hearts called the Sweetie Pie of the cards. The diamonds are considered the adults of the cards, and the hearts are the children. So, I have the best of both worlds! Laura details what both cards mean in the episode, so I won’t ruin it here by telling you, but I will say that what she told me was very accurate. Amazing!
Now the cards are also suitable for understanding your relationships. Laura and I discuss using the cards to manage your relationship with a boss who knows how to push all your right buttons. It’s because that person most likely has the same card as you. Those who have your card are mirrors for you, meaning they reflect yourself back to you. In this situation, the question you need to ask yourself is, what does this person uncover in me? What do I need to see within me?
The cards can also be beneficial when it comes to romantic relationships. Laura did another reading for both me and my husband, Chuck. He was an 8 of hearts, and since I’m a 7 of hearts it means we have been together over many lifetimes. We are considered Mars and Venus. Venus is all about deep love vibes. Mars means it’s time to get busy. With this combination, we will feel like we are in sync and have the fire to get lots done. That was so us!
Laura was so much fun to talk to about the cards and how they can help us in our everyday lives. It was a magical conversation!
