After a hard breakup and a lifetime of medical issues, Krysta Francoeur starts Wild Remedies and begins a journey of self-healing that helps her understand her health issues and transforms her life.
“However, there is still this other layer that if we don’t ever investigate it, all of the underlying stuff will just end up cropping back up or coming back as something even worse.”- Kysta Francoeur
Krysta Francoeur is the creator of Wild Remedies, a line of medicinal mushroom-based products. She developed the line after her health challenges led her to explore alternative remedies and nutrition.
This is Krysta Francoeur’s story—
Krysta Francoeur tells how she started her company, Wild Remedies. She explains that she was motivated to start the company because of her health challenges. She describes how she was led to the Chaga Mushroom and how she started making and selling tea made from the mushroom. She describes how the mushroom’s medicinal properties have helped her and how she believes they can help others.
In this episode, you will learn the following:
- How healing begins with taking responsibility for your health and how to heal your body naturally
- Chaga mushroom tea – a medicinal mushroom with adaptogenic properties that can help modulate the immune system
- Magic lattes – botanical blends mixed with a milk of choice and have gourmet flavors like spiced chocolate, strawberry Rose, or almond.
Krysta launched Wild Remedies, a collection of herbal products. As a result, many health issues in her life, including tonsillitis, sinus infections, panic attacks, depression, and thyroid inflammation. She worked with Intuitive healers to help her understand her health issues.
After going through a significant health transformation, practicing the law of attraction, and getting into more spiritual modalities, she moved overseas to work for Mind Valley. She lived in Malaysia for two and a half years and was steeped in everything wellness and transformation. When she returned to Canada, she started researching medicinal mushrooms and the best way to consume them. She began making her tea in her kitchen, and it’s been an exciting adventure ever since.
I asked Krysta what the one thing you would’ve changed about the whole process if you could do things differently is?
“I think we maybe went a little bit too hard on the amount of product we manufactured initially. Maybe we could have done a product sold in cafes just to get more people to sample it,” Krysta replied.
Wild Remedy shop has launched in Canada and is focusing on Canada first. They are confirmed for Whole Foods in Canada but should be national with Whole Foods by November. “It’s a long process getting into Whole Foods, but the dream is coming,” said Krysta.
Keep an eye out for Wild Remedies in your local Whole Foods store in the coming months. But in the meantime, you can always buy their products online at WildRemediesShop.com. Personally, my favorite tea latte is the Almond Lavender Dream—so yummy to drink right before bed!
