Do you feel like you’re chasing after enlightenment and peace, but you’re not quite sure how to get there? Have you been told to let go, but it seems impossible, and you’re feeling more pain than ever? If any of this resonates, this episode of Butterfly Kisses is for you.

“I heard a spirit, and it was a male spirit. Tell me you will go back; your mission is to tell people not to be afraid of death.” -Nicole Kerr

Nicole Kerr shares the story of her near-death experience and what it taught her about life and death. She experienced severe physical trauma due to a car accident and repressed memories for 19 years. Nicole provides a solution to how to find enlightenment and peace by sharing her story and breaking down the concept that death is not something to be feared.

Nicole Ker is a near-death survivor and has written a book about her experience called “You are Deathless.” In it, she talks about what she learned from her near-death experience and how it has helped her not to fear death. Nicole inspires us; her story will stay with you long after you finish reading it.

Nicole Kerr was a 19-year-old cadet at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs when she was involved in a car accident that left her with severe injuries. Nicole Kerr spent eight months in the hospital and rehabilitation, learning to walk again. Nicole Kerr’s story is about her journey of physical and mental healing after her accident.

What Nicole has learned from her near-death experience:

  1. You can learn not to fear death
  2. Your body holds onto repressed memories until you are physically and mentally able to deal with them
  3. You don’t have to believe in a personal God to have peace

You can learn not to fear death

To learn not to fear death, the first step is to start by understanding what death is and is not. Death is not an end but rather a transition from one state of being to another. There is no reason to fear something natural and has no end. Instead, focus on living your life to the fullest and enjoying every moment. When the time comes, you will be prepared and at peace with whatever comes next.

Our spirit is energy, and energy can not be destroyed. The physical death of our body is simply a new beginning. There is nothing to be afraid of, as you will simply be moving on to another form. This can give you a sense of peace, knowing that there is nothing final about death. Your true essence continues to exist.

Your body holds onto repressed memories until you are physically and mentally able to deal with them

When we experience trauma, our bodies can go into a state of shock to protect us from the pain. This can cause us to dissociate from the event and repress the memories. Our bodies will hold onto these memories until we are physically and mentally able to deal with them. This can be a long process and may require professional help.

It is important to understand that repressed memories can significantly impact our lives. They can cause us to experience anxiety, depression, and other mental health problems. If you think you may have repressed memories, it is essential to seek professional help.

You don’t have to believe in a personal God to have peace

After Nicole’s near-death experience, she was left with physical and mental scars that took 19 years to heal. During that time, she struggled with an eating disorder and tried to control her world to ensure that nothing like the accident she experienced would happen again. It wasn’t until she started seeing a therapist and got help from a 12-step program that she began to heal. As she trusted and let go, her body felt safe, and the memories of her experience started to return.

It wasn’t until Nicole started to believe in a personal God that she began to find true peace. It was through her faith that she was able to forgive herself and move on from her past. Nicole is now a strong advocate for mental health and is helping others who have been through similar experiences. She is living proof that there is hope after trauma.

Nicole Kerr’s story is an inspiration to us all. She is a near-death survivor who has learned to live without fear. Her story will stay with you long after you finish reading it.
